Carolyn Pogue

I am an active life-long member of the United Church of Canada (liberal Christian) with inter-faith and Celtic shamanic interests. On my website, I use the term Story Medicine for the Soul for what I offer. Story Medicine is an umbrella under which the magic and mystery of stories is sheltered and allowed to flourish. Stories, as we know, can wound; they can also heal, sustain and stretch our imaginations.

As a Retreat Facilitator, Soul Companion, Writing Workshop Facilitator, Artist-at-Play and Author, I am always amazed at how stories change lives, whether they are written or simply told. As a Spiritual Companion, I invite and welcome the story your soul wants to tell.

Writing and visual art feed my soul for my work as a Spiritual Companion. I enjoy leading retreats and workshops, and welcome opportunities to explore individual stories. Through my activities as a member of The United Church, I also draw upon experiences of advocacy, grief and world travel.
